Memory lane

Lunch at McD and to school for sijil SPM. The school is so different! No wonder it won the Sekolah Tercantik thing. Hazirah said we left our aura there that's why the school won haha. The funniest thing was the 'kubur' which was so strategically placed in front of the canteen as a reminder to never divulge themselves in drugs.

It was truly a walk down memory lane. Wished we had time to go to the surau, there were lovely memories etched there.

Probably the last time I'm going to meet them before I move :( Wasn't the same without @Amirah Shukri, @Airina Syahirah, @Mariyam Rashiddi and @Aishah Rashiddi.

Aishah, we love you and I hope your operation goes okay, inshaallah.

A shoutout to a dear amiga,

"Friend." lol so cheesy

It means way more than having every type of similarity there is to be, from the same preference of shade of lipstick lol omg i dont even wear lipstik ew i dont like the way it feels like and the first and last time i wore lipstick in public was when i was 10 or something for a school choir colour to the same passion to set out into the country to propagate the idea of an ideal world free of war and destitute.

It means way more than going out all the time, to the hippest malls and coolest hang-out spots in the dead of the night, and putting it on Facebook to show the world that we have a life, and a seemingly good one at that.

It means way more when we forsake our time with friends and appreciate more that of our family's, for whenever and whatever, family comes first, and have an understanding of that together.

@The Curve

Yesterday, Alya, Amirah, Hanisah (she passed her JPJ test and you could see she was very ecstatic lol) and I went out to the Curve. Alya and I haven't seen Amirah in months! When we first met her she bulldozed us a few metres back ehak. We watched a movie, messing out at Popular, went to Big Apple and that's about it because we were only there for 3-4 hours and most of the time was allocated for the movie, but it was a really fun day nonetheless :)

14 missed calls? lololol

Inshaallah this afternoon my friends and I will be going out to watch a movie. "Hop", they say =__= Well they do love cute little animals. Ok ok, I shouldn't be prejudicial towards non-Disney Pixar animated movies, because I've been wrong loads of times by a measly trailer, like How To Train Your Dragon and Kung Fu Panda, so yeah... They also mentioned Harry Potter in the trailer, so that's something. I hope July comes fast, because the last movie will be out! Together with the WINNIE THE POOH (!) and Hanna! I've been preparing myself by rereading the book series (currently in the fifth) and rewatching the movie series all over again.

And I cooked breakfast today and had 14 missed calls from Hanisah because I could only focus one thing at a time *oh yeahh oh yeahhh* Sunny side-up eggs and toast. Well I could only cook Western, though I much much prefer good ol' Malay breakfast. But the spices needed and the intricate quantity is too hard to remember for me -.-

Ok bye.

PascaSPM

Amiraaah do not open your bday present yet! >:D
I secretly love taking candid pics. They look more natural :D Duh
At the surau. Non-candid pics is in Alya's camera tho. But she's currently disconnected from ze internet.
Mwahahaaaaa
Alya marah kalau amik gambar candid dia xD
ehak ehak, gua suka buat orang marah :D
Skool's ovahh babayy, we gonn' smoke!
Ok not =.= Every puff takes 11 seconds out of your life y'know.

Alhamdulillah SPM is over.

Not sure if I should put a smiley over there, or maybe a gazillion exclamation marks.. Yesterday, after I came out of the exam hall, I was practically dancing (not as ecstatic when Barca won the match over RMA though eheee) and high five-ing and just being silly (this sentence needs more elaboration, put lemme put a full stop to that). Not sure what went over me though. I was circling around Amirah and then I had stomach cramps =.= And even my mom was shocked because she knew I'm a wee bit crazehh. ok no let's go with outgoing with the ones I'm rehelly close with, that is, but she was shocked when Alya and I were taking pictures at the busstop and doing some errr stunts. Ok ok I did -.-

And now, I feel sort of empty. Firstly, it's because that I kept thinking:

"What am I going to do now?"
"Who am I?"
"What have I become?" (Spidey style)
"With great power comes great responsibi
"Being a student sitting for SPM just took my life out of me (no rolling ze eyes pliz) and now I'm just a person who made a tumblr yesterday and reblogged 60+ posts in 14 hours."
"For these past few weeks, before I do anything, before I eat, before I tried to play football in the house in my kain batik, before I do any chores, before I eat, I'd read up a bit and try to memorize some facts in my head while I work, but now, I feel empty."

And another reason is because I didn't get to say a proper face-to-face goodbye to my teachers and all my friends that are still sitting for SPM (ehak) and also to the ones that I am not really close with, out of mere shyness.

BUT THEN IT HIT ME

There's still the results-taking part in this equation.

OK LET'S PARTAAAAYYYY

When he was a boy, Lionel Messi was playing for Newell's junior team. He was late for a match because he was locked in a bathroom. His team was down 0-1 at half time. Leo arrived at the match at half-time by breaking the glass window of the bathroom. He turned the match upside down by scoring two goals to make it 3-1.

SPM is just a few days away, and the anxiety is building up by the second (pretty obvious eh?). Well, here I am, blogging after almost a month, to remind all of us to be strong to face this part of the equation. Great stories always start with a toil, with a problem, with a situation that seems impossible to break free. For example, Leo's above 8D

These things make good stories. Like, for instance, people certainly don't want to hear you boasting on being on top of the world and filthy rich just because you simply inherited your father's hard work, right? So just keep your chin up and charge the mountain, but still remain your down-to-earthness (-.-) by remembering the people who stood up for you and who was there for you all this while. And do keep a reminder that everything happens for a reason, no matter how unjust it turned out to be for He is the All-knowing. Insyaallah we'd all get through it. Fightingg!

Ok why do i like to point at people? -.-

I'm 17! So..

17 Things That I Want To Do After SPM

  1. Learn Arabic, Mandarin and Spanish so that I could be Leo Messi's translator.
  2. Reread the Harry Potter series and rewatch the Back To The Future trilogy and watch all P. Ramlee movies.
  3. Witness a whale and swim with dolphins. And play in the rain. No eye-roll, please -.-
  4. Take a photo with the sun shining down my back.
  5. Go to the only state in Malaysia I haven't been to, Sabah and also the Taman Negara. Or witness the mountains where some scenes in Lord Of The Rings were shot in New Zealand.
  6. Consider and rethink of being a wildlife photographer (one of many in my list) for Nat Geo or something someday. Because it's a perfect mix of my love for wildlife and Allah's wondrous creations and photography. I became inspired after watching a documentary of the world's greatest wildlife photographers and this. Though I've never took a single DECENT picture of any wild life. Would this be considered as wild life? -.- Kucing liar pon.
  7. Teach my sister and brother for his PMR.
  8. Prove to everyone that she too could excel, in things she loves, in her own way. And that there are more to things that meets the eye and the narrow judgments integrated in our heads.
  9. Perform Hajj or umrah, insyaallah. And finish the tafseer of Al-Quran, insyaallah.
  10. Visit my sister's grave in Iowa, insyaallah.
  11. Go to Palestine in a humanitarian effort. Hah, even here, I think I did close to nothing -.-
  12. Brave myself up to speak in front of a crowd. Though I've spoken to more than 100 people at that SMART ranger seminar :D But that's in front of people that I don't know at all (but with someone I love and know in the frontlah, like my parents, ecehceh -.-) It's more terrifying to speak in front of people that you do know.
  13. Cycle the whole town and smile to everyone that I happen to pass by and avoid getting weird stares and urgent calls to National Security.
  14. Eat a big chocolate bar all by myself for once. Jual ikan -.-
  15. Take a photo with a Leo Messi cardboard (because I'd freak out if I ever met him in person -.-)
  16. Take a photo with that pose I've always wanted with my siblings and have a photoshoot with my friends on freshly-mown grass but with loads of candid pictures.
  17. Make my parents smile.

Mei sudah tiba.

Ku sangka ku sudah boleh master silibus tingkatan empat sebelum Mei menjelang tiba.
Ini tidak, peringkat padawan pun belum tentu lagi.

Rare opportunity.

Salam allo. During maghrib yesterday I've received an unexpected news from ustazah. Remember that I told you that I participated in the Tilawah (Quran recital) competition last two weeks? And that the top three is going to the next level? Well, the first runner-up had transferred, so since I was fourth, I've got to take her place! In such a short notice, plus! But never mind, I've got to see my new-found friend, Fatin again! (of which she got the first place) Sincerely and honestly, I'm seriously no good at all in this area. It's just for the sake of interest and trying that I decided to represent the school in this, besides, there aren't any volunteers, so I thought, why not? My grandfather, Tok Bah and my auntie, Cumie are experts in this area, and because my Tok Abah is 500 km away, so I asked for my auntie's help. She accepted though insyaallah, only by sending records of her recital, but I'm grateful nevertheless. Though my intention is only to recite the Quran. And perhaps because winning is reheeelly out of reach. ehakehak. Though of course, I'm still nervous about that but thanks to words of encouragement from my parents, my friends, ustazah and my auntie, insyaallah I'd get through with it! :D Ajaa hwaiting!

P/S: I found out that I totally suck at folding up those little paper stars for Yap Hui Ling's birthday today. ehek.

Ramble ramble.

Salam allo! :D Aiyayaa it's the time of the year. Again. One of my most un-preffered days. SPORTS DAY which is going to be tomorrow. The adrenaline rush sensation sometimes would be too hard for me to bear. I absolutely detest the sound of the... POOF KAPAPOWW pistol thingy and "On your mark, get set, go!" remark. No really, it doesn't coincide with the fact that I'd always get number four (out of eight) which was VERRRY near to achieving the third place (and thus the medal, ehakk). Or sometimes fifth. Sometimes. Once or twice.

Same goes for long jump though but I love long jump. It's really fun to do :D But this year, I decided to go ahead with the 1500m race. I pretty much knew that I'm a WEE bit better at long distance that short distance, but somehow, I never got the chance or perhaps, come to the decision to participate in the long distance race. Wokeehh, I admit, I actually was attracted to the idea of what Amirah told me sometime last week. When Amirah's elder sister, Nadiah participated in it last year or the year before, she could get out of the race when she was really tired and forfeited! Or something like that, I think. Isn't that awesome! :D

So, instead of running for two or three short distance race this year, I might as well go with one and long distance is not stressful, too. Though I'm not sure about forfeiting though. I mean, if I took a whiff of someone very de kurang ajar holding a hamburger and passing through this is my last sports day. Ahh never mind, I'll try my best, I suppose.

Ohh I hope Mr Vicky remembered to cancel my name for the short distance race though.. Ah well, gotta go now. And I'm going with Alya tomorrow and I really hope that we could finish decorating the sepanduk for Puteri Islam kawad tomorrow!

Term break!

(mitok maap deh sebab roti tu penyek, Arissa, ehehh.)

Salam, allo :)

Today was sukantara. The end. Ok, next. Ummi asked me to buy some groceries at the nearby convenience store which was very near the school after school. So I did. Due to pity, all about 6 of them offered me their ice-cream, mwahaha, I know I look so innocent! (ignore that.) Well then the others stampede! hurrily climbed on pak cik's van leaving us behind. We were going to cross the road towards the bus stop (the ritual of second-trip-ers). There were dozens of cars passing by so we just waited for the chance to safely cross. Then a thought came past. I was wearing an instant hijab (in black ye, so it didn't appear much as an instant hijab, eheh.) and a bag of groceries tightly clutched in my hand. Amirah and Alya were engulfing eating ice-creams.

Cutting the story short, I grabbed Alya and Amirah's hand with the grocery bag.

Saya: Tengok kiri dan tengok kanan, ye nak-nak.
Alya & Amirah: Ok makk... Alaaaa.. aiskrim tumpah, huhu...
Shu yang sedang menunggu bapanya kat belakang: Oooi, tak lintas-lintas lagi kerr??

Eheheh. And anyway, sorry for the penyek-ed roti. And insyaAllah Baba's coming home today! Alhamdulillah, hehe :D

A year from now!

(asat ambo jeles kat teddy sorang ni? -.-)

Salam, hello :) After we sat for our Civics exam of which five sixth of the time I spent on sketching a mural for the wall of the toilet (don't ask -.-) we scampered to the balcony to see our ex-seniors taking their SPM results. Like Hazirah said, "Untuk ambil iktibar..." It was a long wait though. First Amirah was super-inspired to study while Alya and I was feeling very nervous equivalent to that of the ones who were ACTUALLY taking the results. eheh. Zaheen (and Syafiqah as well >:)) noticed us peering to the crowd of ex-seniors and say 'Cukup-cukuplaaahh..." and some other things I couldn't remember. eheh. He said that some brought their own cars and all.

Of course Amirah was jealous because she's the most eager-est person eagerly wanting with eagerness to obtain a driver's license that I know of. Well, the wait went on. Then there's a sidang redaksi meeting (for the school magazine thingy) and had the tasks divided out and then when we went on to the library was when we heard cheers and clapments (ignore that.) We saw Amirah's mother and greeted her (she's one of the most hyper and happy-go-lucky mother! Including Ummi on her hyper days :P). Then came the time.

Ekkk to cut the story to quite of a very short one, congratulations to all who got what they wanted :) Though anyway, this shouldn't be the sole thing of what decides the future. There are many things for us to encounter before we get to the real part of the equation. But all in all, only God knows the hikmah or reasons behind all that has happened for He is the All-Knowing. We should always try our best but at the same time, redha and accept of what's to be. What's to be is if I don't get a head start cramming my head into the sea of knowwwledge, I'd be grilled mutton! (mashaallah sedaahaap :D)

Ignore that.

Rasulallah s.a.w. bersabda:
Ada dua ni'mat yang selalu disia-siakan oleh sebahagian besar manusia, iaitu ni'mat sihat dan ni'mat kelapangan masa.

- Hadis riwayat Bukhari

(huhu, betul..)
