Three in two.

Salam allo. It has been NO-SCHOOL for two days and I still got one day left! mwahaha. I was looking forward for the yesterday's holiday (wesak day) on Friday because my overworked (overstatement.) brain needs some rest after two straight weeks of exam. And I still got one week of exams left, but still there's going to two days of no school next week and there's the holidays the next! Mwahahhaa.

But I certainly have went on a holiday mode yesterday for watching two movies, that is the Madonna's-ex-husband-directed movie, Sherlock Holmes and the 2001 movie, Serendipity of which both centers around signs, clues and coincidences. Hanisah recommended Sherlock Holmes, which was great, and what do you know? RDJ practices Wing Chun Kung Fu in real life! You know, the martial art in the movie, Ip Man! Wow, never knew about that and Ip Man was awesome, thanks to Amirah for recommending it too. Actually I've had these movies for ever encrypted in the hard drive, but never had the chance or the interest to watch it before, ehak.

I love Eugene Levy!

And Serendipity, this one, of Baba's recommendation. And surprisingly, it's a romantic comedy. I don't like much romance, I prefer dramedy (drama comedy) movies like Forrest GumpMarley & Me and The Bucket List but this one is good, though it's got some flaws here and there. Nevertheless, alll the coincidences and the signs which brought them together in the end, it's really sweet.

I watched Percy Jackson & The Lighting Thief the day before yesterday which was good as well, pretty surprised that I enjoyed it since they weren't many good reviews and Hanisah said the books were better. But, it was an enjoyable movie anyway, and that's what's important, eh? Coincidentally, the directors for Sherlock Holmes and Percy Jackson were born on the same day! wah. And I'm going to boro boro (excuse that.) Mariyam's The Lightning Thief novel and she's going to boro boro my Hunger Games series :D

Oh well, back to studying. InsyaAllah. I hope. (woaah "deja vu"! ehak. Oh, Deja Vu which starred Denzel Washington is a great movie too! :D)

Four things.

Salam allo.

  1. First off, ONE FACT: I'm officially the only one (from eight) in this household who doesn't have a facebook account. Apart from my two- and five-year-old sisters. -.- What happened to the world where children were often in the situation where they reluctantly head home after a play at the playground with their friends? And the part where you've got a very long lecture from your father because you've went astray from the limits of your supposed places to be in the neighbourhood? How I miss those times! TV was quite alien to me. Well apart from Star Wars and Mis Tres Hermanas, TV was not much back then. Not like today. I'm glad I'm a 90s kid. (well not going to thirty five years from now!)
  2. Tomorrow I've two exam papers to sit for. And about 10 more. Or more. And tomorrow is also my sister, Anis Amanda's fifth birthday!
  3. I'm featured in Amirah's post! ehek. Kudos to the post you've posted though! A really good piece. Well you know, besides the fact that I'm in it, but I guess that really adds to the good-ness. ehak. Though I'm not such an avid Kpop fan, I still have some liking towards SuJu. And Amirah also said of beauty in her post. I seriously agree -- ahh. Just read this. My blog post on beauty. Read it. Drag and CLICK.
  4. My blog's been pretty dead. It's all just short irrelevant posts and I've been missing posts on my perspective on life and such. Looks like I've been lack of perspectives lately.
Heh. Now back to studying. I hope.

Hello, goodbye!

Salam allo! I've been watching Glee which showcased songs of The Beatles. I haven't been exposed to The Beatles a lot, though I loved 'Hey Jude'. By watching Glee, I have come to know some really great Beatles' songs, like 'Imagine' and 'Hello, Goodbye'. They're really great songs! Wokeh, mid-year's going to be next week. I have to get off from the computer. After I emailed my essay, "The Effects (Adverse and Positive) of Cyber Communication' to Ain.

Happy's Mother's Day's.

Salam allo. Waah. Three things:

  1. Since when did blogger changed the publishing a post settings?
  2. My family booked a flight to Bandung somewhere last year and of which the tickets were practically free! Because we and we arrived there on Tuesday and arrived home safely on Friday, alhamdulillah. And we met Amy Search! 0_0
  3. Today's Mother's Day! Although, yes, Mother's Day (and Father's) should be celebrated everyday, but we 'surprised' Ummi today with a McD breakfast. Ummi, a burger, and the six of us, a burger! But being a mother she is, she still shared hers. eheh. The seventh member, namely Anis Amanda, five years old was absent during the whole thing. And she thought we still haven't given the cards yet.  And she said, "Kak Alin! Jom hide pastu kita 'Happy Mother Day' kat Ummi!"
"Wokeh! Kak Alin hide atas sofa, Amanda hide belakang sofa, yea?" I said.
"Okay!" (imagine a girly girl in pink from head to toe and wide wide wide smile)

                 mwahaha, I'm evil, I know.
  4. Ok bye.

Abang (obi)Wan!

Mei sudah tiba.

Ku sangka ku sudah boleh master silibus tingkatan empat sebelum Mei menjelang tiba.
Ini tidak, peringkat padawan pun belum tentu lagi.
