Written in this old little shabby room.

Salam, allo. I think Amirah and I have the same blogging period cause she just posted a post as I posted mine x) On Friday after presenting our oral (thanks again to her because she researched for materials while I was at camp :]), we just talked about the poems we made and a 50s boria that we made for Dina when she's leaving for boarding school and Amirah suddenly had this idea to make a song. So, we made it, along with Hanisah's help :) Here it is, "The Weekend Song":

Good evening, good night, good morning to you,

We have a song just written for you
We hope you enjoy it as much as we do
Written in this old little shabby room.

We're waiting, We're waiting in our little school
Waiting for the teach to get her tools
Today is Friday and the last of school
can't wait to end it pretty soon

We can't wait for Saturday to come along
Well that's really the whole point of this song
Hope that it doesn't get too long
Patience is a virtue that serves us all

Hooray! hooray! 'cause Saturday's here!
So don't you worry, don't hesitate
Just enjoy before it's too late
chicken chop and fries is what i ate

Hooray! Hooray! 'cause Sunday has come!
Let's go steal some plum from mom
then have a picnic under the Sunday sun
The weekends is the best thing ever done!

[Sad Tone]:
Good morning, Good evening , good night to you,
We have bad news to give to you
Sunday is past and the weekend's gone
and now the waiting goes on and on

[Cheerful tone]:
But don't you worry cause we have this song
It'll keep us occupied all day long
'Till the weekend comes back along
We'll just sing the Weekend song!

Copied & pasted from Amirah's blog :)

It's sorta, kinda like a 50s song, you know, the jovial type. It was really fun "kerah-otak"ing and making this song. If you were wondering the "old little shabby room" we were referring to is the classroom. haha. Which is pretty funny 'cause we just had a gotong-royong the day before. haha.
