Oh, August 24.

Awesome cover.
:D

At the 500th, starts the first.

Salam allo :) Well, by the time I start writing this, it's 0042 hours. Already February 12th then. Usually if I was staying up late (usually studying or performing optional prayers or sunah prayers, insyaAllah, though admittedly, not so much, tho, heh.) I'd succumb to sleep eventually, sooner or later. I was downloading this movie, (500) Days Of Summer about two or three days ago. In blu-ray even! *wink wink* I was doing my homework and after noticing that the movie had fully downloaded, I decided to watch it. Yeah, I'm oredi in the holiday mood oredi. CNY! Hope Uncle Wong would give us angpau again this year. mwaahaah.

So anyway, I watched it just now and well, it's really quite good. Though you should know upfront that I don't write movie reviews that often or that well nor do I fancy criticizing bad movies and just let the bad ones that I just happened to watch whisk away and it won't be engraved in my memory for long. But I guess, I'd just make a short review as an exception. Well, this movie is good :) (good start, eh?) Or is it because I'm a sucker for nonlinear narrative? If you're my classmate and friend (or my English teacher, ehak.) you'd probably know that I usually applicate flashback techniques of the sort in my narrative essays. Don't ask me why, it's just that I like doing so, simple as that. Anyway, albeit its tagline, "This is not a love story, it's a story about love," you probably can guess anyway that it's a romantic film that adds a splash of comedy into the mix. You know, romantic comedy.

"This is not a love story,
it's a story about love,"

Sure it had some a wee bit flaws, but anyhow, the main thing that is that it taught me a lesson. That although something that we had found was perfect, flawless, irreplaceable and that we come to love for it, but it turns out, at the end of the day (or 500 in this case) you lost it, someway or the other. You feel that there's an empty hollow hole inside of you where your heart should've been. But you shouldn't give up on hope, because maybe it's just that it's not meant to be. Allah has fated for it to be the way that it is, and there would be a reason behind it, and we'll find out eventually why insyaAllah and that's it's for the best. Yes, the ending was awesomee :D But anyway, it made me fresh-eyed again! So I was doing this BM essay and seeing more homework in queue... not so much. Solution? Coffee. Yeah coffee.

No sugar. Tidaaaaaaaaaaaaak!

"Smile! Let's see those pearly whites!"

Salaam, allo :D Well anybody who's anybody (that I know of, ehak.) knows that I dream to be a teacher slash lecturer or perhaps a columnist slash journalist or maybe a graphic designer someday. Though on which subject, I have no clue. Yes, I don't. So I'm not really sure of what I'm gonna do in the future. Until one fateful day. Ummi just went to a new dentist, and the bill cost a whopping RMx00 ringgit! But the dentist/or the receptionist said before Ummi paid the bills, that the tools used were from Sweden or German or something.. So that's why it's gonna cost a little bit more than usual.

"Alin jadi dentistlah!"

"Ha? Dentist? Ohh.. sebab kes dentist Ummi hari tu eh?"

She smiled her (insert adjective here) smile and said, "Selain tu, untung jugak tau! Contoh cam doktor, dia ramai pelanggan, tapi every visit tak banyak sangat bil dia, kalau dentist, tak berapa nak ramai sangat, tapi setiap kali visit banyak tau! So tak berapa nak beban sangat la kerja dia." (well except for inserting your hands to the unknown realms of the human mouth!)

"Err.. tak glamor la Ummi."

"Tak glamor?! ... " and she went on her lecture and all.

She said that she had never feel certain about my future profession such as this one. And that perhaps Yana had a better chance of getting a job in the future if she went on and work with me.(ceh, macam dah ada klinik sendiri. ehak.) But who knows? Maybe I'll have to work for Yana, right? It all depends on what Allah has in store for us and they all have their own hikmah.

Really I don't care much about the money albeit people thought that was hard to believe, but really... Ah never mind. I thought, I wanted to be a journalist or a graphic designer before because I love to write and graphic design. After putting more intense thought about it (in addition to reading an article concerning the topic in CLEO, ehak.) I wanted to consider them as hobbies because if I was to take them as jobs, I don't think it will be much fun anymore. It would be more exciting if you can expect the unexpected things everyday and can look forward on carrying out your favourite hobbies at the end of the day. Or something like that.

Then I remembered Ain telling me how her sister got into dentistry in the first place. Her sister didn't know which course she's going to take. I was having the same situation like her sister, not knowing what to take. And their mother suggested dentistry, so she went on and took the course. When Alya and I was waiting at the tuition centre for Alya's mom to pick us up, she pointed at a dentist clinic, named Klinik Gigi Ong or something like that. Then we wild guessed that it's probably our ex-classmate's dad's clinic, since the surname matched and he really is a dentist.

Then Amirah said that she's going to the dentist to get rid of her braces once and for all next month. Yesterday Alya sent me a text that she won't be going for school (yes, school on Saturday) for respective reasons and another is that she's going to the dentist. Oke oke, these are all just plain coincidences, but then I visited thestar online just now and saw this article at the most visited section. I dragged the mouse into the title. A line appeared underneath the title, denoting that it's clickable. I clicked it. Twice. aweeesome eh? :D (=_=). This came out.

Dentistry was mentioned second! Oh wow. Of course me getting a JPA scholarship would be a little far out, but I'll try my best, insyaAllah :) Well, I'm not really sure if dentistry is going to be my future career though I feel a good feeling about this one. But sometimes mixed. Well probably because I don't have perfect teeth (AND perfect grades!) like dentists have xD But well, who knows right? InsyaAllah I'll make the right choice with guidance from Allah and my parents, family, friends and all.

"Jadilah dentist, Alin.. Bolehla buat free of charge check-up untuk adik-adik, family, kawan-kawan.."

xD

293 days.

Three words. Slavery Productivity in a big Magnitude. Okeh I have no witty ideas now. But seriously, the bahang can already be felt (yeah I know, it's ironic how I was just doing my SPM PEKA Chem 10 seconds ago.) 293? That's just like moments away! See, one month has already passed! And it felt just like moments ago! See, even my email was kinda almost like but not really like almost about that recently.

Coffee Prince(ss)?

Salam aaallo. I've been watching this K-drama, Coffee Prince which is the first K-drama that I'm following. Amirah and Aishah (of course.) watched it and I bet my aunt does too. The first J-drama I've watched is 1 Liter Of Tears of which I didn't watch till the end though, but it is 1-liter-of-tears inducing. huhuu.. Hanif said that he watched it too (couldn't imagine him crying tho ehakehak) And srsly, you need to watch this one! It's really good and hilariously funny! :D The first few episodes started off slow, but the show's getting better and better! :D Since the school work are piling so rapidly that you couldn't say 'Oh my god, another one!' (i'm kidding. that's not logical.) I've been alternating it while watching Coffee Prince on youtube. mwahahha. One of the many advantages of having a computer on the study table in the study room in the house of studiousness in a world where studyment plays quite of an important role among other important things such as of spiritual, mental, social, health aspects is well, this lah. One of the disadvantages is:

Yes. It is what you think. One window is of a not-yet-17-year-old's essay being copied into her exercise book. One is of a 4-year-old's idea of web surfing. One is of a 1-year-old's entertainment method. While a 9-almost-10-year-old doing her homework 2 cms away from the not-yet-17-year-old. Much pushing here and there ensued.

haha no lah I dont even drink soft drinks.
it's too fizzy and brainfreeze-inducing.

TAPI TAK KISAH LAH!

Maal Hijrah @ Terengganu!

Salam allo. Well Amirah & Alya had posted their holidays posts, so I'm busybodying interested to do so too. I haven't posted a holiday post here before so I want to lah for the first time. Here goes! It's quite brief :) Well on the way from balikkampung-ing in Kelantan on Dec 17th (Thurs), we departed for KL through Terengganu. We decided to visit our uncle, Ayah Pi's at Dungun. We first visited Ummi & Baba's college friend, of which her husband recently passed away. She has four kids, eldest entering Form 1 and youngest, who's four is Aqilah whom they call Kiki Lala.

But nevertheless the younger two who my sibs and I play with in the compound were very jovial, and as they chased me and my brother around, they're veery hyper :P On a short note, we played and all which was very fun :D (yesss my inner child was unleashed that day. well among other days, ehakehak). Though that may be, it's amazing how they were able to cope with what's happened, which made us grateful and not taking for granted of what we have.

The next pit-stop was at Taman Tamadun Islam. We didn't expected it and I said to Baba, "Kenapa baba enggak bitahu awal-awal nak pi sini, kalu tok pakai janggok janggok sikit, huhu.." Huhu.. The trip was fun andeducational.. Ok I didn't really listened attentively to the tour guide at the time, how can you not with these bikes? I haven;t rode one for quite some time though I regretted not listening thoroughly for the whol tour but nvm, here are some pics laaahh..

It was fun riding and rempit-ing on these bikes :D
Peace!
Look at the license plate! :D
Taj Mahal. MashaAllah tengok awan-awan tu :D
Hmm tengoklah sape hok tangkap. ehakehak.
eheheh..
If you know the Taj Mahal history, you'd know that according to legend, it's built on
the "labour of love basis" or samtin, which is pretty ironic if you look closely at this
pic of my parents, the shadow looks like a heart! aww :D Tengokle sapo hok jong amik
gambar ni nyo..And sape yang tiang pegang flash, Mohd Ammar.
Sheesh dia pon nak kredit jgak.
Lompat lompat.
Kuasa lima ~~ bertukarr!!
Normal balik..
Masjid Al-Haram.. insyaAllah :)
(dalam muzium Masjid Al-Haram)
Great Mosque of Samarra.
Goodbye bikey! Mine's the brown one lah, to Alya's despair. :P

We didn't get to thoroughly visit each of the museums because it's nearing the end of Asar, so we prayed at the Masjid Kristal (read the previous post on Dec 18th :D). Then we finally head to our uncle's. Though sleeping early was not in the context considering the reunion of toddlers age 1 to 4 =____= Ajakan pujukan rayuan supaya tak melalak diaorg tidur diendahkan. Huhuhu. The next morning (Dec 18th; Friday), we had breakfast. I had nasi minyak yumyum :D

Then our parents brought us to places where they taught and stayed at when they were in Terengganu about almost 20 yrs ago. Then finally to our home sweet home, we arrived home safely, Alhamdulillah :D
